Coding Extends Far Beyond the Tech Industry<\/h4>\n

When coding came onto the scene, only the technology sector could make use of it. That is no longer the case. Actually, many of the job openings<\/strong> that exist for programmers aren\u2019t even in tech companies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Some of them are in health care, others in government, others in finance, and some in traditional manufacturing. Even marketers<\/strong> could do with coding skills with the advent of digital marketing.<\/p>\n

Coding isn\u2019t just for software engineering graduates anymore.<\/strong> Many jobs make it one of the job requirements, and the salaries are higher than average to reflect its importance. There are also plenty of boot camps across the country to help job seekers learn how to code. Coding is a lot like teaching, only you\u2019re teaching a computer, rather than a human, to perform a specific task. To communicate with the computer effectively, you have to speak in a language that the computer can understand, known as the programming language.<\/p>\n

That code has not always looked the same, and very few people today will be able to understand code from six or seven decades ago. At the very beginning, code was written in the form of holes on punch cards, which were loaded into a computer. From there, it went on to numbers, and then words.<\/p>\n

Today, computer code looks almost like the English we use in conversation. This evolution has come about to make it not only easier for programmers to teach computers efficiently and effectively, but also so that it is easier to learn how to code in the first place.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

With more people being able to communicate with computers because of the ease of using computer languages, computer technology and systems have become more and more a part of our lives.<\/p>\n

Currently, there are numerous programming languages out there. Some of them were built for special purposes while others are general and can be interchanged depending on preferences and the nature of the task.<\/p>\n

For the World Wide Web, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript reign supreme. For statistics, R, Python, and SAS are the default languages. AutoCAD languages help engineers as they design with CAD software, while C++, Java, and others are multipurpose programs that can be used just about anywhere.<\/p>\n

Aid for New Students (1st semester)<\/h3>\n

At this level, we are offering 25% – 50% tuition fees scholarships.<\/p>\n

(3 years) 25% tuition fee scholarship<\/strong><\/span> — The first 100 students<\/span> who apply, register and pay their tuition fees\u00a0 for the January 2020 intake before 7th January, 2020<\/span>\u00a0will automatically be awarded 25% scholarship for 3 years. This means that they will always be given 25% scholarship for\u00a0 every course they want to study at DevWorld Tech Academy for the next 3 years. Quickly apply now.<\/p>\n

25% tuition fee scholarship<\/span> — <\/strong>As an applicant, if you can find someone else to register for the same semester as you, you will be granted a 25% discount for your first semester. If the person you invite also invites someone else to register with them, he\/she will also be grant 25% discount.<\/p>\n

50% tuition fee scholarship<\/span> —<\/strong> You are allowed to win the two 25% tuition fees scholarships above and that will become 50% tuition fee scholarship.<\/p>\n

Aid for Current Students (2nd \/ 3rd semester)<\/h3>\n

Second semester 25% tuition cash back.<\/p>\n

We are offering 25% tuition cash back to students who<\/strong> registers to participate in our 3 months participates internship training to refine their skills and gain relevant work experience.<\/p>\n

The internship training runs at the end of every stream’s 2nd semester.<\/p>\n

At the end of their internship, we will give them a reference letter from WealthBankers Limited; noting their expertise, passion, talents, and professionalism for the work-place. They will also get to work on enterprise apps and software being used by real users.<\/p>\n

You can use the scholarship only once either in your 2nd \/ 3rd semester.<\/p>\n

At this level, it’s more than just coding or skill refinement in isolation.<\/p>\n

It’s about developing solutions that can be turned into a business or about consciously developing your career impact-fully, using your skills to solve problems.<\/p>\n

All students running the Professional Diploma programs will have to complete a Path Project in their 5th semester. We are granting all students in their 4th session a 30% tuition discount.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You get to work on your own project and we will pair you with other developers who will help you bring your solution to life as you all learn and grow on the job. If we find your project an innovative effort, we can part-fund it as WealthBankers Limited.<\/p>\n
