Abuja Clinics was established in 1989 as a health institution to provide efficient medical services to the then budding Federal Capital Territory (FCT). From humble beginnings it has grown into a group of 3 hospitals located in Karu, Garki and Maitama districts of the FCT .

The group possesses advanced medical equipments to assist its team of highly qualified and dedicated health personnels. These equipments include but are not limited to the 64-slice CT scan unit, 4D-Ultrasonography, Mammography unit with stereotatic biopsy and Intra-operative C-arm fluoroscopy allowing for excellent diagnosis and cure.

Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
Performing preventative maintenance.
Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
Install appliances and equipment
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Perform minor repairs
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
Install appliances and equipment
Inspect and repair all damages to building surfaces
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Perform other related duties and activities as required
Report to facilities or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those needing attention, and those currently in progress
Respond to repair requests quickly and with a professional manner
Maintain a library of user manuals for office furniture and fixtures that can be referred to when needed
Perform routine cleaning tasks based on a schedule created by the facility management team
Perform general maintenance works to avoid possible failures and malfunctions.
Assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner.
Analyze repairs requests and troubleshoot them.
Handle emergency maintenances and repair works.
Stock adequate maintenance materials and equipment to avoid shortages and excesses.
Maintain complete records of daily maintenance activities.
Maintain work area clean, safe and organized.
Operate maintenance equipment safely to avoid accidents.
Provide assistance to co-workers when needed.
Attend job training and safety programs organized by maintenance department.
Perform maintenance tasks based on pictures, blueprints, written descriptions and oral instructions from Supervisors.

Requirements

Must possess a minimum of National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Must have 3-6 years cognate experience on the job as Maintenance Technician (Electrical).
Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be well- organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.
Must be proficient in computer.
