The person will lead strategies to increase the operational efficiency of the company through innovative product design and implementation; ensuring customized solutions to clients that meet their requirements. He/She shall coordinate research and development initiatives, lead system architecture design and oversee project delivery. The primary objective for this role is to grow the revenue base of the organization and ensure profitability.
Identify new business opportunities for the company and converting it to sales in order to ensure continued increase in revenue and sustainable growth.
Perform market research and identify market trends in order to facilitate feasibility studies and strategic development.
Innovate and create new ideas using information and communication technology.
Study clients’ needs and analyze business requirements to design customized solutions and services that meet demand and create value for the company.
Build on, implement and communicate system strategy, operational plan, policies, procedures, systems and tools, ensuring these are tailored and adapted to suit the realities and needs across all levels of the organization;
Communicate customer requirements to the Software/ICT team and work with them to ensure that products are delivered to customer requirements and in line with agreed terms.
Develop technical and financial proposal including working schedules that meet specified requirements and lead to new businesses. Ensure all statutory documents and compliance certificates are duly updated and preserved.
To win and deliver business and build our reputation further; work with all departments to secure the necessary resources to put in place the actions to achieve that vision.
Writing technical responses to all Business-ICT requests and technical solution concepts and presentations to meet business needs and objectives.
Develop demo presentation for clients to simulate system functionality and project end-results.
Prepare annual revenue projects and set new objectives to achieve business growth and profitability in timely manner.
Lead research for products and service improvements, prepare business intelligence reports, and present innovative solutions to develop new business lines.
Develop, manage and sustain business relationships that are critical to the growth and development of the company.
Working with relevant departments to monitor compliance with ICT policies and procedures across the organization and providing ICT quality control in all areas of the organization as required;
Prepare weekly reports on business development activities and advice Management accordingly
A software developer with:
5 years’ experience in Business Development within the ICT industry
Cognate experience in marketing ICT infrastructure and solutions to public and private sector clients.
Knowledge in ICT, Software and Hardware application is mandatory
Excellent proposal and report writing skills
Good communication and negotiation skills
Good presentation and facilitation skills
Proactive and results-oriented.
Project Management certification is an added advantage
