Recruitment Strategy Design
International RecruitmentOur client is a propriety investment group of company. They currently have an opening for a Lead, Product Development (Financial Services and Tech) in Lagos. The ideal candidate will spearhead the product’s strategy formation as well as execution. The candidate will also be responsible to create and manage a process that drives towards a scalable product portfolio that will in turn drive the organisation's profitability.
The Lead, Product Development will have commercial accountability and will have responsibility for establishing the direction for the organisation's products, developing and driving the commercial strategy throughout POC to life cycle management stage.
Establishes the methodologies and procedures for conducting research, design conceptualization, prototyping, and product development across the entire organisation's product team.
Coordinates the functions of product design and product improvement, ensuring that the product resonates with the consumers and, therefore, boosting the product appeal to the consumers and in turn increasing the consumer base and sales volume.
Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule in alignment with the organisation's product roadmap.
Make creative recommendations to expand the organisation's product base and roadmap.
Ensure that various stages of product development are completed on time by leading, organizing and requesting constant updates from cross-functional teams.
Ensure that high standards of reliability, quality, usability and measurement are adhered to throughout each phase of product development.
Provide commercial input into the organisation's product development plan, commercial plans and other key decisions.
Actively supports the product marketing efforts, exhibitions, making speeches and presentations at conferences, meetings, and events.
Conduct other duties as deemed necessary in the effective performance of Lead Product Development role or as directed by Executive Management.
Minimum of seven (7) years’ product management experience preferably as a Head of Product Management in a complex business setting.
