Senior Finance Officer at Onstream Group

The Onstream Group – Our client, a well established company in the food industry is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:Job Description Your main role will be supporting our client’s Shared Business Service Manager in Nigeria, coordinating the teams in the different areas: Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Accounts Payable. This will Include :

Supervising the General Accounting team tasks and overseeing:

Posting the general ledger and cash accounting entries, thereby compensating according to the type of payment/collection to ensure that the accounting reflects the economic operations.
Prepare and pay for the various taxes and social security charges, ensuring correct credit of the same in all managed companies.

Supervising the Accounts Payable team tasks and overseeing:

The control of the account balances to ensure the correct status
Internal Customer Inquiries handling
Cash flow management

Supervising the Treasury team task and overseeing:

Banking map and banking pool
Financial facilities management (M&A, CAPEX and Working capital)
Cash-management; daily position and forecast
Payment management
Online banking management
Financial cost management and reporting
Management of bank accounts
Reconcile all the bank accounts on a monthly basis

Supervising the Audit; Reporting team tasks and overseeing:

Audits and Tax inspections
Finance reporting

Establishment of the annual financial statements

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate has a high level vocational training in accounting
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a similar position
Experience in people management
Good knowledge of SAP- FI (General accounting, Account payables, Customers, Banks, …)
Ability to work under pressure with good communication skills
Rigorous, autonomous, innovative and proactive
Language: English
