Riohs Originate has transitioned into Riohs College of Design Ghana.
Riohs Originate, now rebranded as Riohs College of Design with the tagline “Create. Make Radiance,” has undergone a transformation rooted in its new value proposition: uncovering potential and nurturing seasoned professionals.
Throughout the past decade, our institution has been dedicated to nurturing budding talents. This rebranding effort is in direct alignment with our overarching objective of becoming the premier institution for fashion and creative design education in Africa.
The College will expand its offerings to include a broader array of Creative design courses such as Photography, Graphic Design, Digital Fashion, Creative Thinking, Concept Development, Branding, Pattern Making, Fashion design, and more.
In this new chapter, our commitment remains steadfast to identifying and fostering emerging talent. We continue to demonstrate that with creative thinking, dedication, and practical guidance, individuals can learn to conceptualize, sketch, design, create patterns, and sew a collection within just six months. With morning, evening, and weekend class options, our curriculum provides hands-on training that empowers students to become conscientious decision-makers, with a focus on sustainability within the fashion industry.
Many of our esteemed alumni have successfully established renowned brands, including Naddia Ibrahim, ZaQi Africa, Elikem the Tailor, Royalty by Nanasie, Gallant Belle, Maud by Dianne, Avonsige, Sera Ban, Cosma GH, Mayase GH, Kojo Boadi Ghana, Sara the Dress Maker, and numerous other creative minds making waves globally. Beyond fostering a community of fashion entrepreneurs, Riohs graduates excel as professional pattern makers, sketch and digital illustrators, fashion designers, and atelier managers. Some have even received recognition in publications like Vogue, as exemplified by the exceptional success of Ajabeng.
Riohs alumni have graced the stages of prestigious International Fashion Weeks, including London Fashion Week, Denmark Fashion Week, Arise Fashion Week Lagos, Durban Fashion Week, Glitz Africa Fashion Week, Accra Fashion Week, and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
Richard Ohene Sika, the founder of Riohs, expressed, “Everyone harbors a spark of creativity within them; they simply require a touch of Riohs to unleash their potential. The world perpetually craves more creators, so consider joining us. We can guide you in realizing your vision.”
